You might’ve had to have been there. But I love this mashup.

One of the many things my grandmother and I share is our love for Mr. Ford!

Also, loving the new sidebar picture and introduction!

Oh, I was there. I remember when it opened. I was with my parents and my older brother standing in a long line at the UA Theater in North Hollywood. The mashup makes me well up inside with that same childhood excitement! Hubby and I danced a little disco when we replayed it the second time. xoTrina

wow…freaky, like Pink Floyd/Wizard of Oz freaky :)

That was cool. Confused me for a second at first. It looks from your photos that you have a great house! But it sounds from your Twitter feed like maybe you have a leak? Uh Oh? If you happen to have a question, you know where to find me.

Tim

Hi Tim – the pipes did break during the cold weather but I was able to put them back together for a quick fix until I can get the plumber out here. The copper probably shrank somewhat in the cold and a small (fortunately accessible) pipe on the outside out the house came out of a coupling.

Laurel Street Blog

Nate and Louis

Well, hey there. I'm Nathan and this is the Laurel Street Blog. It's a place for talking about design, decor and DIY (with small amounts of snarkery snuck in). I'm a pretty restless guy who loves house projects and lives in a 150+ year old cottage on Laurel Street in New Orleans. Since the house always has something going on with it (or falling off of it) I'm subsequently blessed with a never-ending supply of Web content to share. Oh - and you can drop me a line anytime LaurelStreetNola@gmail.com. Enjoy!

Can I get a tweet up in here? Follow along @LaurelStreet
